Atlantic Coast installed a full interior drain in my 90 year old basement.
The crew dug a trench approximately 12″ wide and 12″inches deep around the full perimeter of my basement.  The trench was filled with stone and a perforated drain pipe feeding a new sump pump.  A drain hole was added to each cavity of each foundation block.  Our old house has a very thin floor and the footing and floor slab are at the same level.  So instead of covering the trench with concrete flush to the floor, Gary and crew  covered the trench with a 3″ high curb.

The work took 1 week.  They showed up when they said they would.  Communication was excellent.  Gary, the owner of the company was on site working along side his crew every day of the job.  All quoted work was completed and then some.   Gary  added about 10 feet of trench not included in the original scope of work because he felt the system would perform better.  They dug under stairs, around corners and behind my boiler.
Some other basement waterproofing contractors we spoke with do  not pull permits.   We are very happy that this job was permitted and the cost of all permits was included in the quote.  During our excavation our water main developed a leak.  Gary’s relationship with the city and with his plumber meant the damage was repaired the same day.
Atlantic Coast competes with large sales organizations.  I recommend that you consider this honest hardworking company where your job will have the full attention of the owner of the company.
